Situated between Marbella and Malaga on Costa Del Sol is the La Cala resort, and the Asia course is one of the three courses the resort boasts. The Asia course is one of the three 18 hole courses in the La Cala resort that opened in the 1980s.
The Asia course and its sister course, America, were created by designer and architect Cabell Robinson, who also designed the La Reserva Club. The Asia course is a 6500-yard length par 72 with fairways, spacious greens, and greenside bunkers on raised surfaces. The course has four short holes, with each hole being about 160-185 yards long.
The holes are narrow and short with four par holes, which require precision and skill, and water present in only 2 of the holes. The Asia course is known for its challenging holes, too, and these holes have attracted keen golf enthusiast and professionals.
