Located in the hills above the Old Course, the New Course of the Atalaya Golf & Country Club affords golfers incredible panoramic views of the mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar, and the beautiful landscape of the surrounding countryside. Paul Krings designed this course, and it opened in 1990 with 18 holes, Par 71, and is 5,821 yards (5,325 meters) long.

Short but fun-packed, the New Course is the perfect place to play alone or with a group. It is challenging enough for players of all levels with its green sharp curves. The course is hilly but very walkable, except on sunny days. This New course will impress every golfer’s inner thirst for adventure. It allows for more enthralling and technical holes than the flat holes of the Old Course. Also, it possesses an exquisite clubhouse with a restaurant for your power lunches. And not too far from the fairways are several kiosks for drinks and snacks.
