It would be a disservice to golfing in Costa Del Sol if the Alcaidesa Golf Club wasn’t part of the conversation. This magnificent resort boasts of two championship courses, making it one of the most reputable golf courses in Spain.

The outer Links course offers a breath-taking view of the Mediterranean shores, the coastline towards the Rock of Gibraltar, and the Atlas Mountains in North Africa. The older of the two courses opened in 1992 and was designed by golf commentator Peter Alliss and Clive Clarke.

The Heathland course is the newest, and most recent of the two courses designed by famed former Ryder Cup player and course architect Dave Thomas. And it was launched in 2007. This course offers a more inland scenery of the local mountain ranges and river valleys.

Besides that, the Alcaidesa Golf Club also houses a Golf Academy, a world-class restaurant and, a picturesque driving range.
